UCLAx Design Presents: Creativity vs. Innovation

NOW ON JUNE 10!

Creativity vs. Innovation: The world needs more innovators

The American economy needs original designers at every level of our society. Instinct fuels a designer’s creative ability to see new patterns and possibilities where others only see chaos, but innovation requires going further to understand what new value points the idea offers, how it challenges existing solutions, and if it makes a unique connection with its user.

This workshop introduces methodologies, key tools, and techniques to help you look at the world from the customer’s point of view and create innovative solutions that will lead to a quantum leap in value.

Mr. Hindell assists entrepreneurs, designers, and management for all types of industry in the generation, development and articulation of innovative solutions. Mr. Hindell is recognized as a value innovation specialist, and has spoken at conferences and events in the US and abroad on the topic. Some notable projects of Mr. Hindell in the public domain include the concept development and business planning for Palate Food + Wine and the strategic redefinition of Pitfire Pizza.
