





I was in New York City between Christmas and New Years, which was awesome. I'm going to go ahead and say it was totally awesome.
There was an incredible exhibit at the Museum of Arts and Design on Columbus Circle called Slash: Paper Under the Knife, which I loved so much that I bought a book on it. The intricacy of the work, and the patience it requires really amazes me.
That was by far my favorite museum experience, but we also went to the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, which had an exhibit called Design USA - Contemporary Innovation. That was okay; I think Scott would enjoy it more than I did.
At The Whitney, we were excited about their Hopper collection, but could only find Early Sunday Morning so left after about an hour.
But some of the best design was visible for free, namely the whimsical and elaborate window displays at Bergdorf Goodman. Those are the photos you see here (sorry about the glare)...
